How Can rashes On The Vulva And Breast Be Treated?

Hi, I have a vulva rash and a rash under one of my breast. I have been treating it with Epson salts/lavender oil soaks. Also, applying cortisone cream under the breast and desitin with zinc on the vulva area. It has improved, but has not gone away entirely. I exercise in the evenings which means I sweat a lot, and have to wear my wet clothing for 2-3 hours before I can shower. Is there anything else I should do to treat this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
Your symptoms seems to be related to candidiasis.Candidiasis is caused by the same yeasts, or fungi, that cause vaginal yeast infections, oral thrush infections, and diaper rash.
Antifungal creams are used to treat candidiasis.
If the infection is more widespread, you may take antifungal medications by mouth.
Some advices that I can give to you are :
-Yogurt. Yogurt is considered a probiotic food.
-Apply Oil of oregano.
-Apply Coconut oil.
-Apply Tea tree oil.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
